Hi there, I'm Charlie. I have an NVQ Level 3 in childcare. I realised about 4 years ago that working with children is what I would really like to do as a career, so this is why I am looking for work in this field. I trained for 2 years as a children's nurse, before deciding that I would like to work in a more personal setting and moving on to nannying. I have worked in 2 nurseries, in one I had my own key children and enjoyed it immensely. I still keep in touch with my key children and feel proud to have been a part of their early years learning. Since starting my childcare course 13 years ago, I have worked in children's wards, schools, nurseries, specialist settings and personal homes. I have worked with children ranging from 5 days old up to 14 years old.
