I am 52 yrs old with 20 years previous experience as a teacher, Headteacher and Nursery Manager. I now work part-time as a babysiter/nanny. I like spending time with children of all ages.....cuddling babies, playing peekaboo, singing songs, reading books to toddlers, helping primary age children with homework, playing board games, or just chilling and relaxing with older ones. I have extensive experience of children with a wide range of special needs, including emotional and behaviour needs as well as learning and physical/sensory needs. I currently have a few families who I babysit for once a month, but am looking for some more. I would prefer regular sitting as I can then get to know the children and build a relationship with them, but I am also available for one off, short notice jobs. I am happy to meet you and your child/children prior to becoming a regular sitter, however, if you need me at short notice, I would always arrive 10-15 minutes early so I can discuss routines, favourite toys, comforters, any medical issues etc with you before you leave. I also always text when your child/children are settled down for the night so you have peace of mind on your night out.
