Hello, I’m Cassie…a caring, nurturing, reliable, energetic, artistic 27 year old childminder. I'm very passionate about play, art, one to one support, reading books and going on adventures! I volunteered for 2 years in a SEN nursery assisting with play, story time, feeding, and one to one support with children with additional Needs. As part of my Foundation degree (2013-15) I had the pleasure of working 600 hours+ in a year P1-3 class to which I helped with art activities, play, lunchtime supervision, story time, and the after school club. During school holidays from 2016-20 I minded 2 children from 6:45am-9pm everyday, one of which was on the autism spectrum. In July 2017 I graduated from Northumbria Uni with a 2:1 in Early Years and Childhood Studies. I had various placements in nurseries, primary/forest schools, as well as a part time job minding a 7 year old girl. In 2019, I graduated with a postgraduate distinction in Play Therapy. During this time, I worked in a crèche (3mths-5yrs) and child minded while I studied. I currently work for the Belfast Trust Mon-Fri 9am-5pm based in Castlereagh.
