I have 14 months experience working as an Early Years practitioner and running an Out of School club (April 21- June 22), looking after children ages 2-11. I have SEN experience, including Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and general learning difficulties and have had basic SEN training. My gentle nature has allowed me to have strong and meaningful connections with the children in my care. I have experience cooking meals for children in my care, changing nappies, assisting with personal care in older children if necessary, entertaining (even on dull, rainy days!) and comforting children. I have a passion for learning, music, drama and the outdoors. I believe learning through experience and getting a bit messy is great for a child’s development. A busy child is a happy child! In my work, I was regularly left to care for up to 8 children, so I don’t mind a bit of chaos, and have got eyes at the back of my head! I am also a carer for my Mum with MS - I have lots of experience and am very efficient at maintaining a clean household and am happy to complete any light housework, cooking and cleaning. As I have just moved from Crewe to Urmston, I am ideally looking for part time work before I start at the University of Manchester in September 22.
