I have five years of experience working with young children as a volunteer teacher and nanny. Whilst nannying I really enjoy being able to make a personal connection with each child I look after and plan fun activities around their interests. I often like to plan themed weeks around different topics — it might be outer space, butterflies, or a specific country. To me, the sky is the limit and it's all about what engages your child. I have also loved to spend time cooking or baking with those I looked after and plan exciting days outside (museums, petting zoo, etc.) I am also a visual artist and have degrees in music performance and education. Each of these skill sets is something I bring to my childcare work and I am also happy to provide tutoring in any of these areas.
