During my degree I have worked part time as both a nanny and au pair, taking care of children below the age of ten. Working as a nanny demands a high level of responsibility regarding the safety and development of the children, ensuring that I was always working consistently in partnership with the rest of the family so that there was never any form of miscommunication and the children were looked after in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. My role as a nanny required me to be constantly vigilant and take on an innumerable amount of tasks at once, whilst dedicating my attention and care to up to three children at one time. Beyond completing house chores, tutoring the children and focussing on any particular wishes that needed to be fulfilled on request of the parents, I throughly enjoy caring for children and want to be as accommodating as possible.
