I have a 2:1 degree in special educational needs and inclusion, and have spent the past year completing my teacher training degree at derby university but have left teacher training as its not for me. I have a full dbs check, I am first aid trained, i am safeguarding trained and also have training in makaton, autism, and behaviour management. I have extensive experience with babysitting, and have one years experience as a personal assistant to two 9 year old boys with autism and communication needs. Prior to this, I was a childminder for two years- having experience caring for children from 6 months to 7 years of age. I have also had two years experience in the charity umbrella which provides respite care for children and young people with special needs and disabilities. I have a full driving licence, my own car and full insurance. (4 seater car, so 3 kids max!) I have no issues with personal care, bathing, household chores or pick ups/drop offs.
