I have qualifications in child care and food technology with 7 years experience. In my experience I have nannied for three different families. My first was for a little boy at three months until aged four years with occasionally his older sister who was four until she was eight years old. My main roles were to get the baby up in the morning and ready for the day, taking him out during the day to baby and toddler classes, the zoo or the farm, the aquarium etc, preparing his food and doing his bath and bed routine. My second family was for a little girl from four months old until ages three years old. Her mother was very ill so I was there from early morning, I would get the baby up and ready for her day, make her food or bottles, clean the house, sometimes help with the mother’s food, take the baby out to baby and toddler groups, give her dinner and do her bath and bed routine. My last family was for a little girl from two years old and who I currently still see and occasionally babysit at five years old. My main responsibilities were getting her up and ready for the day, preparing her meals, playing with her, taking her out to places, giving her medication and also doing her bath and bed routine.
