I am a qualified Early Years teacher with a BEd(Hons) degree. My career started as a Nanny and then moved onto a Preschool teacher in a private nursery. For the past 24 years I have been a Special Education Needs teacher in a Special School teaching ages from 4-19 years. I currently work 3 days a week with ages 6-8 years. Throughout my years of experience I have developed skills to be a caring, diverse, versatile and dynamic person. My skill set includes an holistic and therapeutic approach. I believe that the core to each child is that of happiness and wellbeing as well as independence and life skills. This is to enable the child to thrive to the best of their ability. I am an extremely caring and empathetic person who believes in nurturing children through a calm, consistent, creative and fun loving approach.
