My mum is a Chiltern Nanny and so I’ve always heard about her work and have been with her when she was working for some of the families. When I was at school, the main way I’d earn a bit of pocket money was through baby sitting and tutoring. I tutored 3 children (aged 5,9 and 13 by the end) for 2 years and at the end of my time with them their grades had improved significantly. I did that 6 hours a week for 2 years so am very experienced in tutoring and helping with homework. Furthermore, I aupaired in London for a month with 3 children aged 7,9 and 11. My responsibilities included cooking lunch and sometimes dinner, taking them to museums and parks and playing with them at home. In addition to this, I’ve also been volunteering in Senegal and Peru either taking care of children at orphanages or teaching English to underprivileged street children. I’m also lucky enough to be half Spanish and half English so I can speak both languages fluently. My French is also of a high level.
