I have extensive experience caring for and supporting children, including those with disabilities and special needs. Growing up, I cared for my disabled brother from a young age, which taught me empathy, patience, and adaptability. I further developed these skills through volunteering with vulnerable children and young people aged 8 to 18, where I supported them emotionally, planned and facilitated engaging activities, prepared snacks, and created a welcoming, safe environment by maintaining a positive and open-minded approach. Currently, I work as a babysitter for a family of four, where I care for their two children, one of whom has a disability. My role involves meeting their individual needs, fostering a supportive atmosphere, and ensuring their wellbeing. Additionally, I have experience tutoring children with special needs in math and science, tailoring my teaching methods to suit their unique learning styles. These experiences have honed my ability to connect with children, manage diverse challenges, and provide compassionate, individualized care. I am originally from German and speak German, Spanish and English fluently. I love reading and anything with arts and crafts. I am looking forward to meeting you!
