I am an OFSTED registered nanny with an enhanced DBS check, paediatric first aid and over 7 years of experience caring for children aged 2–10. I have been looking after children since I was a teenager and it is a role I have always loved. Prior to university I did a lot of babysitting and post-graduation I worked as a full-time nanny caring for three children (3, 5 & 7 yo). I cherished the part I played in the children’s development and I learnt how as a nanny you become part of a team; parents entrust you to care for the most precious thing in their lives and I really value the importance of that role. Since then, I cared for a 4 yo and have worked in primary and secondary schools independently planning and leading lessons. I believe in encouraging children to explore and be creative so I love trips to parks and art activities (even if they get a bit messy!). At present I am a live-in nanny caring for three children (2, 4 and 6 yo) and assist the mother with the new born baby.
