Hello, my name is April and I’m a kind and caring primary school teacher. I have worked in year 1 for the past 2 years and have loved working with all the children in my care. I have also worked as a tutor alongside teaching and would be keen to include learning opportunities wherever possible. Outside of being a teacher I love the outdoors and when I can, go on hiking and camping adventures around Europe. I would love to share my enjoyment for the outdoors with any family I worked with. Previous to becoming a teacher I worked with a family during COVID 19, where I cared for a 2 year old girl and a 4 years old boy. I worked with them Monday - Friday whilst their parents worked. At the time I had a car and so would take them on picnic excursions, little walks to cafes and spend as much time outdoors as possible. I would also often babysit into the evening a few times a month. I’m looking for a short term nanny position over the summer holidays with the potential of care extending up till the end of November if needed. Pets: Prior to becoming a teacher I worked in 2 doggy day care centres in London so have experience with a wide range of breeds.
