Hello, my name is April, I am 26 years old. I live in southsea. I have recently been blessed with a beautiful nephew who I’ve helped raise as my sister is a single mum. Some of my hobbies include: cooking, piano, art, reading, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. I started out in childcare when I was 16 years old and completed my childcare qualification on the job. I worked in a nursery setting for 4 years and looked after the ages from newborn to pre-school. I then found a lovely family who needed a nanny and worked for them for 1 year. Which the job roles included: school run, fun and creative activities, building good relations with parents and children, cooking, cleaning, running errands and home organisation. For the last few years I haven’t found anything that is as satisfying as looking after children and I really want to get back into the field. In my previous nanny role, I was also their housekeeper so I am more than happy to help around the house if and when needed. I live be myself so I am more than capable of running a home. I strive to create an atmosphere at home where your child is safe, happy and engaged in meaningful activities. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with your family!
