My name is April , I am 28 years old and live in Sidcup. I have been working with children for ten years in many different roles and a variety of ages which has given me the opportunity to grow and develop my caring style to benefit the children in the most efficient way. Over the ten years I have gained numerous qualifications in my field including relevant training such as safeguarding, paediatric first aid and extensive knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage Framework). I believe myself to be a happy, hard working person who is always enthusiastic. My roles have given me the chance to work as an individual in charge of caring for and entertaining children as well as taking up key roles in teams where communication and positivity are very important. I am currently working as room leader in a full time position; which involves helping to ensure routine, care and guidance are given to children and team to maintain particular standards set by the nursery, effective day to day running, development support and positive parent partnerships. I take my role very seriously as I love the job I do. I believe that children can learn through their play and interests.
