I am writing in response to your advert for temporary nanny. I have worked as a nanny for many years. My duties involved everything from preparing meals, to feeding the youngest children, changing them, taking them out to soft play areas, the park and play-groups, reading to them and assisting them in their learning through educational play. We also explored lots of different areas of London such as the museums. I have also worked in a school so have lots of ideas for arts and crafts activities too. I really enjoy working with children and they respond well to me. I have an enthusiastic nature and I am physically fit enough to keep up with them. I have a keen interest in child development and enjoy helping the children in my care develop their language and learning practical skills. I think it is very important that children are always stimulated and I make sure the children I am looking after have a wide range of different activities inside and outside of the house. I am laid back, but also very conscientious, ensuring the children I look after are always safe and happy. I start teacher training in September so am looking for summer nanny work before then.
