Hi my name is Annie, I am a 24 year old from Whitley Bay looking for nanny work. I have an enhanced DBS check, my own car, three years experience, and 4 younger siblings. I am a warm, bubbly and loving person with a large family. I love children and enjoy being around them and supporting them to learn and grow. I have a degree in psychology, a certificate in counselling skills, and a NCQ level 2 in health and social care. I have one years experience working as a child minding assistant at a Child Care in Morpeth (references available). I looked after children from 1 to 12 years old, some with special needs. Here I was responsible for: doing school runs in my car, making meals, helping with homework, and entertaining several children at a time. Additionally, I have one years experience working at Orbis support, caring for individuals with disabilities and learning difficulties. The main gentle man I look after has autism, epilepsy and is non verbal. At his house I do long day shifts, sleep overs and night shifts. I give all aspects of care to the individual, supporting him to live independently and access the community. I am however wanting to change careers to working with children as it brings me more joy.
