I'm a qualified mental health nurse qualified with nursing degree in 2004. I'm reducing my hours in this role and would very much like to help families with their children and pets/horses. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, gardening, pets, horse riding. My own 3 children have now flown the nest and would very much like to help families with their own families. I have a kind and nurturing nature. I have experience of working with mums with post natal illness and the care of their babies. This was the most rewarding job, to see mums recovery and to help mums to bond and care for their baby. Children’s attachment to a significant other is paramount to their emotional and psychological development. I’m a good listener and have a good sense of humour which I feel helps to get you through difficult times. Bring a mum is a privilege but there can be challenging times, being tired, busy, feeling alone, not good enough. A little bit of help and understanding can ease and get us back on track.
