Hi there! I’m Amy, currently in my third year of studying Occupational Therapy. I’ve been passionate about childcare since I was 16, starting as a teaching assistant in a special needs school. For the past three years, I’ve been a nanny for a young autistic girl, providing personalized support. I also worked at a drama arts school with children aged 4 to 8, fostering creativity and engagement. One memorable role was as a live-in nanny for a 6-year-old girl, where I prepared meals, assisted with bath time, and ensured her well-being. I have experience caring for a 13-year-old autistic boy and spent time in a school for autistic boys in 2021. My summer with Camp America involved caring for children aged 6 to 15, directing activities in a fun, safe environment. Growing up in a foster family, I gained experience with newborns and toddlers, deepening my understanding of child development. I’m looking to offer my care services to families needing extra support. My university schedule is flexible, and I’m comfortable using public transport.
