I'm a 28 year old newly qualified secondary school teacher (just finishing my training year, and as I newly have a lot of free time on my hands, would love to use it to help someone/make some extra cash) with years of experience working with children of all ages. Although I'm currently working with teenagers (teaching an A-Level subject), I very much miss working with younger children - who are a lot easier to entertain! I have experience as a childminder's assistant for babies of 4 months to children of 7 years; nursery and primary teaching assistant, children aged 2-11 years; kindergarten teacher for babies aged 6-18 months; private nanny/au-pair for children aged 18 months to 6 years old. I have worked with primary aged children with SEND, and have up to date training (within education setting) regarding those needs, including years of experience as a mental health practitioner working with primary and secondary aged children. I am adapt at engaging children in creative/indoor/outdoor play, whilst caring for other needs, and can also offer tutoring based on experience in primary and secondary education. I will be available/free most weekdays in July.
