Hi, my name is Amy, I’m new to Care but I’m looking to start out working in childcare. During my psychology degree, I learned the fundamentals of child development and understand the need for pristine childcare. I have done previous nursery experience with children aged 0-2 and it wasn’t until after the birth of my goddaughter and providing regular childcare for her since she was 5 days old (she is currently 11 months) I became determined to make work out of childcare! Through newborn care, I am experienced in feeding, changing and adhering to a set schedule for babies. I also do occasional childcare for my mothers 10 year old godson and pride myself on my good rapport with primary school children and being able to keep routine and help put him to bed. I thrive on playing games and encouraging growth and development, helping children become happier and being able to build relationships to help them as they grow up!
