I have experience caring and looking after younger children, as I have previously worked in a horse riding school where everyday we would have the children come in and we would be given out 3/4 children to look after each. Here I would make sure to keep them safe, keep them happy, keep them educated, sit with them on they’re lunch breaks. Id say I had a good eye for seeing if a child looked lonely (e.g. seeing a child sat by themselves eating lunch I would go over and make they felt okay, would offer my company but I also respect that sometimes children like to have time to themselves and if this was the case I would keep an eye on them from a distance. I have my own transport so can do pickups/ drop offs, dropping off to any after school clubs. I do also have my own pony so given permission by parent this is an activity that we could do in the given time. And like I said I have worked with kids in the horse industry so I can spit problems, communicate and understand children.
