Looking to offer my time and skills to local families needing a helping hand. Professionally I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Child Psychotherapist having a career break after 15 years working in the NHS with children and adults with neurodevelopmental problems or mental ill health . I have completed two educational careers in the well-being and emotional development of children however I am looking to expand my experience outside of the therapy room. I wish to enjoy the more normal aspects of living, playing and being creative with children, without assessing their faults! You can look up my professional registration details for which I am fully DBS certified. I have a clean driving licence. I am also trained in first aid/CPR with babies, children and adults. I can cook, clean and offer light housework duties whilst caring for your children however I would prefer to be focussed on your children’s well-being. I can offer healthy meals and snacks. I don’t mind cleaning up mess! I have had my fair share of dirty nappies and screaming tantrums. I would like to meet families willing to build a loyal working relationship. I am flexible and patient to the needs of each child.
