Hello Parents/Carers! My name is Amelia and I am an experienced childcare provider, delivering education with ‘The Curiosity Approach’, similar to Montessori, and offer a gentle nannying style. In the setting I work at throughout the week, I implement this, using authentic resources and allowing the children to expand their knowledge of the world and offering real life skills. I am fully trained for paediatric first aid, and hold certificates in Child Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and SEND training. I have a genuine interest in working with children and delivering and excellent level of care, approaching each child as an individual whom I get to help grow and teach. Additionally, I have a clear and detailed understanding of the EYFS, which allows me to encourage growth in all 7 areas of development for your little one and also explain these key stages and milestones to you if you wish. Currently, I work in a nursery setting from Monday to Thursday each week. I am available from Friday to Sunday, or later evenings in the week At present, I am only able to take jobs that require me to look after your little one from your own home setting or outings during the day.
