Hiya I’m Amber! I’m 24-year-old, energetic and enthusiastic individual . For the last 6 years I have been working as a children’s entertainer at a wildlife and adventure park, which has inspired me to continue working with children in other capacities. These have included nannying (2 years), preschool assistant (2 years), Head of young children’s program as a camp councillor (1 season), pier mentoring for low-income teens during my time at university, and volunteering at various children’s creative events. I’m a creative person and enjoy a long list of art mediums, which is something I love sharing with the children I look after . I have experience in sewing, painting, sculpting and scrapbooking to name a few, but I also enjoy baking, dancing, singing , and being in the outdoors. I am passionate about imaginative play and think something as simple as storytelling, den building or playing shop is a brilliant way to engage a child. I love meeting new people, I’m excited to make connections with the next family I work with.
