Hi My name is Amanda (aged 47) and I have been involved in working with children for over twenty years. I am a Primary school teacher who specialises in Early Years and this is where my true passion lies. I have worked in primary schools and private nurseries and been a full time mum to my own children. They are currently 17, 16 and 13. I am looking to seek a new challenge as a nanny and feel I can offer so much to your children. Having worked part time since having my children, I have also been fortunate enough to write some children's books that have been published so visited schools, nurseries, libraries and anyone that will have me! Here I have shared my stories to hundreds of little ones and it has been such a pleasurable experience. My husband and I recently considered fostering but unfortunately he has had a promotion at work and so decided the timing was not right. This is what has led me to wanting to become a nanny. I am reliable, conscientious, extremely hardworking, a good sense of humour and have a natural love love for children. I am willing to take on light household duties and prepare meals but I am not a professional chef!
