Hi! I’m a 20 year old female, who works as a Learning Support Assistant at a Special Educational needs school. I have 3 years experience working closely with children with ASD/ADHD primarily, this is what I’m most comfortable in, however I am not limited to. I use different techniques and skills in my every day life at work such as PECS, visuals, play therapy etc and have been doing so for a few years now. I have always had a drive and passion for children with SEN and I am told I am naturally caring and understanding in this field. I also have experience being a holiday club manager, I have a full DBS check which can be seen on request, however I do not have a driving licence, I am comfortable taking children to diffrent places in the community when the trust is built between me and the child if this is something you would be comfortable doing!
