I’m currently a full time law student at Glasgow university. My experience of child care has been as a kinship carer to my two young cousins from ages 2 and 4 onwards for the past 8+ years , the eldest whom has autism and slight learning disabilities. As a carer I became competent in the daily tasks and duties, as well as longer term planning, involved in child care. Along with some experience with volunteering with children charities and different organisations that worked with vulnerable groups. I also have worked full time as a receptionist since finishing my undergraduate degree a few years ago before starting my accerlated law degree this year. I am super comfortable as well as genuinely happy being around children of varying ages and varying abilities, and love doing fun activities with kids as well as understanding the importance of a good routine. I’m very responsible, respectful and friendly!
