My name is Alex and I am 27 years old. I live just off the Hollywood road in east Belfast. I am a fun and friendly person and love getting to know new people. I absolutely love working with children and and throughout the past 5/6 years I have had many babysitting duties and have helped out on many occasions in church summer schemes. My previous experience has been working with a charity for premature babies. 2 years ago I got put with a family who had premature twins and during these two years I have gained a lot of experience. I looked after the babies by myself while the mum and dad had time to themselves and they put all their trust in me as the twins were only a month or two old. I have grown close and made brilliant friends with this family and also been able to see the twins develop into lovely little toddlers. A year a go they also put me through a paediatric course which I thought was very important to have especially working with very young children and I took a lot away from that. I would love to be able to help people when needed.
