I have several years of experience caring for my younger siblings (I'm the eldest of 7 by a big gap), including overnight. I can prepare meals, keep them entertained, pick up from school, put them to bed, etc. I'm comfortable with pets, don't smoke, don't drink. I'm patient and flexible/versatile and so am more than happy to help out with more general household tasks as well as childcare. I've looked after children as young as 1 up to later primary school age too (but see no reason why I couldn't care for an older child too). I'd describe myself as kind, gentle, resourceful. One of my sisters is autistic and I'm pretty good at de-escalating her meltdowns and keeping her happy. I'm cautious with wearing a mask and who I socialise with and I'd be more than willing to do regular covid tests.
