In 2016 I stared working in a nursery providing care for children aged 6 months to 13yrs alongside completing my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. I have also worked in a primary school as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a child who is on the Autistic Spectrum. I have just come back to the UK from working in the United States at a summer camp for 2 months as a live in Nanny. The young girl I looked after was 4years old, my daily duties included getting her ready for breakfast in the morning and taking her up to flag pole, creating fun and engaging activities for her to enjoy during the morning and making sure she was happy, healthy and safe. In the afternoon I would help look after her 8week old brother. I would bottle feed him, burp him, change his nappy and clothes. I would also look after them both in the evenings when their parents went out for a couple of hours which meant I helped put the little girl to bed and settle her brother and put him in his crib once he had fallen asleep.
