I am an early years practitioner working full time at a private day care and nursery. I have been with this company for just over a year and a half. For the first year i would work in all the rooms with different aged children which enabled me to gain experience working with children from different age ranges. I am currently based in the baby/toddler room and have key children who i have to care for and write up observations/monthly checks on each child. This enables us to see the child's development for us to communicate the progress with parents during parents evening. I babysit a lot during the week and over the weekends, some children are from the nursery i work at however others may be neighbours or relatives.
