I have worked as a babysitter at several times throughout my life, and have always found it incredibly fulfilling. With this, several of my other professional experiences have helped make me very good at the work. The first job I ever worked was as a TA in Primary education - a joyful experience, which gave me a strong awareness of the needs of children that age. I became skilled at striking a balance between friendship, and a no-nonsense approach to the rules - a quality I believe makes me a very effective babysitter. I also spent a year during COVID working as a Cover Teacher in a high school - a job that required a similar skillset with a very different age demographic. Both of these experiences, alongside other work as a private tutor for Primary to A-Level students, have given me just the right temperament for childcare. About me in general: I'm an actor and creative writer, English Literature graduate, quick to adapt to new people/places, and always fascinated by the unique outlook of children (which helped me navigate having three younger siblings myself). I'm also very flexible with timings (used to working late nights, for example).
