My name is Afnan, I currently have a full time job as a social work assistant but previously I worked in nurseries, my last position being a deputy nursery manager. I took part in an Ofsted inspection playing a pivotal role in getting my nursery an outstanding. In my role as a senior nursery practitioner, I would create innovative and fun activities for the children in my care, ages ranging from 4 months to 5 years. I have an up to date DBS, and paediatric first aid. As an experienced and compassionate child carer, I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive. With a genuine love for working with children, I possess strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to foster their emotional, social, and cognitive development. I am happy to support with light house keeping, washing dishes, doing laundry and helping children with homework - I would do my due diligence/studying if I know I will be working with a child of a certain age to ensure I can keep up with the curriculum.
