I am in my 5th year of working as an Early Years Educator in a very busy nursery with 120 children, working directly with ages 0-4. I also have 7yrs experience babysitting children of all ages up to 16 and 4 months of temporary employment as a TA to ages 4-11. I am ready for promotion to Room Manager in line with my NVQ Level 3 (Children and Young People's Workforce) and BSc (Childhood and Youth), however I'm looking to move to a nannying position for more flexibility. I pride myself on being very passionate about my work and have been very lucky to have always worked with Children and Young People. I have extensive experience of EYFS and safeguarding, food hygiene and paediatric first aid. Whilst working I regularly engage children in activities to captivate and develop their minds such as soft play and language skills. I can provide transport unless you have alternate plans and I would be very proactive about taking day trips to keep your children active and educated. I have 2 children of my own, both girls, a 2 yo and 5 month old. I would like to be able to look after my own children whilst working, though I have factored this into my hourly rate.
