My name is Adam. I'm 18 and I'm a first-year Dental student studying at Cardiff University. I am a calm, mature and responsible individual that enjoys working with children. I live in a family with one younger sibling so I know how to handle younger children especially well, and have childcare experience abroad as a teacher. I've had one year’s worth of babysitting experience total which I've gained in the UK as a babysitter: preparing simple meals, putting children to bed and helping with tutoring. Abroad I've taught children classes as a sports, drama and English teacher. In terms of key skills, I know Emergency CPR and have trained with St Johns Ambulance, and also am aware of multiple first aid manoeuvres in the event of injury. I am comfortable with pets in the household am a non-smoker. I am fluent in English and achieved in my A-levels A* in Biology, A in English Literature and A in Chemistry, which make me invaluable as a tutor should that be required. I believe babysitting, whilst fun at times, does need to be done in a mature manner, which I deliver during my care, to ensure the safety and happiness of the children I'm working with.
