About Abby
31 years old
I've worked as a Project Manager with Create charity delivering creative workshops to young carers over zoom during the pandemic. My role involved ensuring the children were having a good time, ensuring safeguarding requirements were adhered to, and also discussing any issues with parents.
I volunteered as a Workshop Facilitator for ArtyFacts in Brighton; an after-school art club for primary-aged children. I was in charge of looking after a small group of children (approx 8 in total) and each week would teach them a new creative process such as building a character with potato or printmaking.
Finally I worked with two boys aged 8 and 10 for around a year which was fantastic and I was sad to have to leave. I did the school pick-up, helped with homework, cooked dinner and played with them. When available I helped over the school holidays with pick ups and drop offs from various clubs and activities.
I've spent the last 10 years living in Brighton and London working mostly in the arts and charity sector in project management. I've just moved back to home-sweet-Dunstable and am looking for a lovely family to join on a part-time basis.
