My name is Abbie and I am 23 years old. Originally from Cambridge and have moved up to Glasgow a few months ago, although I am very knowledgeable of the city as I was living here part time from February 2023! My whole family back in Cambridge works or has worked in some form of child care (mostly education) and so growing up I was a trusted child minder for my community as the children knew (and loved) my brother and mum. I have had experience baby sitting as a short relief for parents gong out for dinner or to a parents evening and also as a families chosen childminder for two years where I would collect the children from school, help with homework, entertain them and feed them before their parents came home from work. I enjoy this type of work the most as I got quite close with the children and we were able to have a bit more fun after they trusted me a bit more! I have a DBS check from previous work I have done as well. I would describe myself as very creative, having finished a TV and Film production degree in 2022 so any creative activities I can with the kids is such an added bonus and super fun!
