I am a 23 year old postgraduate student looking for a part-time role as a nanny alongside my studies. I absolutely love kids, having two younger sisters aged 5 and 11. I am originally from Manchester, but now live permanently in Stockbridge after studying at the University of Edinburgh for the past four years. After my Mum passed away in 2016, I had to step up to the role of full-time carer for my younger sisters for 5 months, while my Stepdad returned to work. They were 1 and 7 at the time, so I have lots of experience in looking after these ages. This involved cooking, cleaning and keeping them entertained with fun activities, such as arts and crafts and baking. I have also worked with a company called Fun Scientists, which involved teaching young kids (age 5-6) about science through fun, interactive classes. I am therefore an expert in slime and other fun science-y activities. I am looking for a part-time role (10-20 hours a week) with some flexibility in the hours I do. On Mondays and Tuesdays I have uni classes, so I am not available until 4pm, while on Wednesday I look after a lovely two-year-old boy until 3pm. Other than that, I’m free whenever needed.
