Hello! I currently babysit a 3 year old girl. My duties include picking her up from nursery, taking her home safely and entertaining her until her parents are home. I have babysat her since she was 1 therefor have learnt so many skills on how to properly take care of a toddler. I helped a mother with her children ages 2,3 and 5 while she broke her foot. I did drop offs and pick ups then helped with dinner/bath/bed time. I babysat a 5 year old for the whole summer or 2017. He has ADHD. This job taught me a lot on how to be patient and expanded my evergrowing empathy for others. During high school I was apart of JET which is a programme for students so they can learn what it is like to have a full time job. Every Friday for 8 months I worked at nursery and was taught many health and safety rules and how to care for children at a high standard. I helped children adapt their skills by reading, singing and teaching them basic things e.g sharing, counting, the alphabet. I also did work experience during high school in a nursery (2 weeks).
