My mum and sister are also nannies so it would be fair to say I have continued in their footsteps. I have quite a large family (to say the least) and being one of the oldest of 30+ cousins, I have always been a care provider for friends or family. I hold all the relevant and up to date training such as safeguarding, paediatric first aid, managing children’s behaviour and many more such as Prevent duty, FGM. I worked at a rated outstanding nursery for 3 years and have gained knowledge and experience through being a room leader and H&S Rep. Other than this, I have carried out regular adhoc nanny days and after school care for children of various ages for several consecutive years. I hold a clean drivers licence for 5 years. With regards to communication and discipline with children, I believe in a firm, fair and fun approach, always maintaining the child’s attention using their interests and empowering the child to reach their full potential.
