Childcare in Ashfield

| I have worked with children for 2 years. I started off at Derby Hospital as a health care assistant, taking care of children in theatres and on the children’s ward providing basic child care. During that time I have looked after children with learning disabilities and complex needs. I then went on to looking after a child with complex needs in their own home, providing basic child care and medical care. I currently work as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities but would like to go back to working with children. I do have childcare experience as I have looked after my cousins and brother for a few hours since I was 18.

| Hi my name is Sophia I am a mum myself to a little girl who is 3 , I have always wanted children and have always wanted to look after them I enjoy taking care of children from any age , I started of at school doing a childcare course and child development as part of my studies and recieved a BTEC MERIT and certificate for this , I also continued this at college in Chelmsford Essex I did another course of childcare and development and completed this in 2016. I am also first aid trained and know all basics care needs as I have a child of my own and it comes naturally as a mum anyway. This includes . Bath times . Bed times and stories . Activities (child’s preference) . Cooking or lunches including pack lunch . Homework help & reading . Light housework . Taking the child to or from school or nursery . Mornings , afternoon , and evenings I can collect references if required and charge £9 hr, but can be negotiated cover inner Nottingham and Hucknall area.

| I have worked in a nursery for just over 3 years working with children of all ages from 6 months to 12 years old. I have my level 2 and level 3 in childcare, I also am paediatric first aid trained and have an upto date DBS.
