Nannies in Wickford

| I am looking for a position with 30 hours or more per week, available to start immediately if needed. Unfortunately I was made redundant by my current nanny family of 6 years as the children are now older so they no longer need a nanny. 2018-August 2024 - Nannying for two children, 5 days a week. Age 2 & 5 at the start of position. In 2017 & 2018 I worked at a childrens summer camp in America. I was a camp counsellor and a teacher in jewellery making. I provided almost 24 hour a day supervision for 11 children aged 8-10 who I lived in a bunk with for the whole 2 summers. I taught them everyday skills and loved watching them become more independent by the end of each summer. Previous to this I was a full time live in nanny for a family in Buckinghamshire looking after their 1 and 3 year old. I provided everyday care such as bathing and dressing, I prepared meals, children's laundry, took the children for outings/playgroup etc and carried out fun and creative activities in their home. During college I worked in 4 different placements for 2 years which included both nurseries and primary schools. I worked with children from newborn to 6 years old and I gained a lot of experience from my time working there.

| Although my skills in this field aren’t experienced based, I find myself connecting with younger people with ease. I have not been a nanny specifically, but I have spent 4 years continuously caring for my friends children on a one to one basis, therefore I feel responsible and compassionate towards children. My organisation, vigilance and dependency leads me to believe this would be a job perfect for someone like myself. I am flexible with time, available for as many hours required of me. This wouldn’t feel like work, as caring for others, particularly children, is something that comes to me naturally.
