| I am a student at Swansea University. I have a wide range of experience, of which is explained below. The last 2 summers I was a nanny for a family in Bristol with 3 young children. This involved: supporting a mother in the household and providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for young children; taking children on day trips (e.g. to the zoo); light housekeeping duties; helping children learn as well as ensuring that the children are safe at all times. I have worked within the home, a church crèche/playgroup, nursery and I do regular babysitting, as well as childminding across a range of age groups. I am very flexible in what type of childcare is needed, whether it is school drop-offs/ pick-ups, daytime care or babysitting during the evening. This summer I worked with young people aged 15-17 year on residential trips (located in Wales and Bristol) as well as assisting them in carrying out successful charity projects. Helping with their development by setting out different activities helping them learn through play and crafts. I have loved my job working as a nursery nurse watching children grow and learn.
