| I have worked within nurseries since I was 17 and through that attained my level 2 and 3 diploma in the early years education. I’ve done lots of training in children mental health and additional needs and have worked with a number of different additional needs. Growing up I was always a babysitter for family members and will still do the odd day/evening to help out. I enjoy supporting children to thrive and grow confidence and independence, as well as understanding and care to those around them.

| I have recently returned from a backpacking trip and I am looking for full time hours. I have previous experience as a live out nanny, a 1:1 for a young child with downs syndrome and as a therapeutic support worker in a residential childrens home for 10 children. Id ideally like to work for a family local to Whitstable/Canterbury with up to 3 children primary school aged. I am looking for a family with clear boundaries of what they expect for me to provide for their children, I am willing to help with light housework. I am willing to work overnight occasionally if planned in advance. Before backpacking,I worked in a therapeutic residential that homed 10 children and keyworked a young boy.Naturally this job was challenging! I feel it shaped me as a person and gave me many skills in and out of work.I learnt many strategies for working with challenging behaviour children with complex emotional #####.#### day I would assist the children with their morning routines and take them to and from school, help with meal times, take children to clubs and appointments, as well as the evening routines and activities in and out of the ####.## favourite part of the job was playing, being crafty and exploring the garden with the children.
