| I have worked in childcare for 6 years in a nursery gaining my level 3 Early Years Educator. During this time I also moved away to Untied Arab Emirates, Dubai and worked in a nursery school there as a teacher for the pre-school class. I have completed safeguarding training, DBS checks, paediatric first aid and first aid in fire safety. Alongside working in the nursery in the UK I did lots of babysitting for family’s where I would look after the children in the day or in the evening taking them for walks, reading stories and helping with any homework. | Hi families! I recently moved from the US to the UK and am looking to help families in the area with childcare! I have a 19 year old brother that I helped take care of since birth as my mother became a single mother soon after. I am looking to help parents near me with care while they work, when they need to get errands taken care of, after-school care, as well as when they want a night out to enjoy a nice dinner & movie. I also have tutoring experience for children up to age 10. I am comfortable watching kids for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours in one day). In the past I have worked at theme parks in the Florida and within my job title, we partnered frequently with school youth groups. I have experience caring for children as young as 6 months and as old as 16 years of age. I also have experience caring for kids with many different special needs. I love doing anything involving art or the outdoors. I can talk for hours with kids about their favorite Disney characters or playing pretend. Board games and Arts & Crafts are among some of my favorite activities to do with kids as well. I have plenty of references from childcare within the USA and I would be happy supply them if asked :)
