| I am a mother too and I want to look after children exactly the way any concerned parents do with their children. I love to come to the children level to play and talk to them. I promote encouraging and self confident behaviour among the children. Currently working as a TA in local school with Special Needs children. I am very patient with children with ASD, GLD and with learning difficulties. I use PECS for communicating with non-verbal children. I can spare few hours in the evening for the childcare. | I have been working in childcare for over 5 years. I started my career in nursery care leading to me qualifying in Early Years Development, since then I have transferred my skills overseas in a number of ways; volunteering to help set up and teach in a nursery in a remote village in Fiji. In a non English speaking community I had to get creative and use my skills to communicate, using actions, song, and picture cards as well as learning basic words and phrases in the native language to assist in their development. I spent my summer months working with Camp America as the art specialist counsellor, where my job was to plan engaging activities for campers, as well as running night time, and wake up routines and ensuring the children are safe, nurtured and well fed! I also work for a performing arts company named PQA, I am the primary teacher for the 'poppets class' (ages 3-6 years old) where I plan exciting and creative lessons based around song and dance, each week with the same aim to build confidence and creativity,
