A well-travelled, friendly, adaptable and energetic KS1 teaching assistant with lots of experience.
|
Hi! My name is Jordanne and I am looking for a role to fit around my full time employment as a KS1 teaching assistant in an independent school in Islington.
I have been a TA for the past year and a half, with the previous year spent in a school for children with SEN and autism so I have plenty of experience working with children with these conditions.
In my current school alongside the main part of my role I run various clubs and lead group intervention sessions, so I would be more than comfortable supporting children outside of school in lots of different settings.
I am the eldest sibling of 5, and have spent the majority for the past 15 years babysitting, doing school runs, overnight/several night away trips, cooking, bedtime/bathtime routines, and ensuring they remain safe at all times. I have babysat many of my parents’ friends’ children also.
My family and I have moved around constantly as a result of being in the Air Force, living all over the UK, Italy and India. This allowed me to interact with people from all backgrounds, and has helped me become a resilient, adaptable, and friendly individual. I absolutely love working with children, I look forward to hearing from you!
