I'm 52 years old with a grown up son, am degree educated, and have worked with children with complex needs. I'm able to connect with children on their level, without compromising on boundaries. I love being creative, the outdoors, animals, the arts and reading, and like to structure time with children to incorporate as much learning play as possible. I am a driver with a licence for over 30 years. I also have experience with horses.
My Experience:
I currently work for 2 seperate families looking after pre-schoolers who are due to start nursery shortly. I've been with both families for almost 2 years. I was a single parent for all of my
own sons' life, and have also had experience of nannying in Paris for a French family who wished to improve their children's English, as well as various families in the UK. I've also worked with young people and children within the care system, and as a contact centre support assistant for
Shropshire Council, advising parents on parenting and liasing with social workers about child and parent contact sessions. Additionally I've worked teaching children to ride.
