I have always wanted to work with children hence why I began a degree in child nursing, however as university was not for me, I’ve decided to start helping children and families by being a nanny.
I have recently volunteered at a nursery which has given me valuable experience of working with children. I enjoyed my time at the nursery as I found the children responded well to me, as I have strong verbal communication skills. In addition to this, I am wanting to learn sign language in the future, to help children who communicate non-verbally.
I have recently completed 2 A-levels and a BTEC, achieving Distinction*, A* and an A. This alongside GCSE’s, will allow me to help children effectively with their homework.
